o You are purchasing an oven broom here - made in a traditional German brush factory of robust craftsmanship quality.
o Please select your desired equipment/length/attachment option. Depending on your existing opening angle, you can decide for yourself which holder you need - whether flat, angled or straight. You can also optionally buy a suitable telescopic handle with adapter and screw so that you are ready to go straight away.
o Oven broom like in grandma's day.
o The broom body is made of wood with a practical metal holder.
o The metal holder is suitable for all handles with a diameter of 2.4 cm.
o For pizza ovens, baking ovens, stone ovens...
o Fibre: Bristles made of natural plantfibre, these are heat-resistant. This fibre is also used in road construction to apply tar.
o Arenga: Bristles are made of palmfibre, these are heat-resistant and flexible. They are also moisture-resistant and dust-binding. The fibers are used in brooms and hand brushes for cleaning concrete floors and also for cleaning ovens and fireplaces.
o Brass: Bristles are made of metal, these are more heat-resistant than naturalbristles, used for heavy dirt as a scraper broom.
o Attention: the bristles can withstand approx. 250-300° in a wood-fired oven with warm ash, but handle them quickly and do not leave them in the oven for long, and dip the broom in a bucket of water frequently. But we do not give any guarantee beyond that, from approx. 300° hot embers and fire it becomes dangerous for the wood and the bristles, at such high heat we assume that the broom and the wood will be damaged (be careful of the risk of fire!). Cleaning: clean the broom with water but DO NOT leave it in the water, then air dry.
o As it is a natural raw material, different grains are possible.
o Vegan - plastic-free
o MADE IN GERMANY
o High quality and workmanship.
o NEW PRODUCT
IMPORTANT: At the beginning the broom may lose hair, which is normal, a sign that the article is brand new. Our brush maker means well and prefers to put more bristles than necessary into the wood so that it is well stocked, because that is the only way to ensure it is useful. This is not saving in the wrong place, instead of using too few bristles, too many bristles are used.
After the so-called "marriage" of the bristles with the body, excess bristles are combed out during production. Not all bristles are caught in the process and these are the hairs that you see after receiving and using the article and think that the article is losing its bristles.
But that is not the case, the bristles are firmly anchored in the wooden body. What you see as "losing" are only the remains that are not anchored in the wood and could not be completely combed out. It is similar to going to the hairdresser, after your hair has been freshly cut and blow-dried, you still have tiny hairs all over your body some time later. That's why we recommend simply using the article and over time all excess bristles will be removed and it will no longer lose bristles. Just like after showering after the hairdresser, you will also have peace of mind with residual hair
The MAAJ promise: Regional + Environmentally conscious + Respectful: We send the items in sensible and resource-saving packaging. In our in-house parcel packing facility at the company headquarters in the Swabian Alb (southern Germany), all shipments are packed carefully and with common sense by permanent employees. Wherever possible, we use plastic-free packaging and give cartons a second change. We shred used cartons into stuffing material. We do not use temporary work and pay stuff fair. We carry items that are mainly made in Germany and we know the producer personally. In our range we not sell goods that "swim" or "fly here" to us from distant Asian countries.
The MAAJ Pimp MyItem program*: personalize and upgrade your item individually - with engraving to make it unique. The ideal gift idea, the recipient will be delighted -;) Just ask us about it (*for a small surcharge, including one-time set-up costs - in the case of series production, of course, then with reduced unit costs). We recommend engraving only on light wood, as the burnt-in engraving is less visible on brass brooms with dark wooden bodies.
Important: we laser the engraving directly into the wood - durable, robust and longlived. Monochrome in brown/black - burned in our in-house laser workshop. Letters, numbers, texts and special characters in your desired font are possible without any problems. You are free to choose your favorite font. The maximum labeling field is 11x11 cm. It is also possible to burn your own customer image/motif/coat of arms/graphics/logo etc. onto the item. We then need a template from you, you upload the file directly to us: as a pixel image such as jpg, png, tiff, bmp - with a good resolution, please. It is difficult to engrave extremely complex images in the smallest of spaces with the finest lines/shading or content that is barely recognizable. Colored content is NOT possible. We place the text or the customer graphic optimally on the article and try to get the best possible visual and space-related maximum for you. Therefore, please consider before purchasing whether with or without engraving. If anything is unclear or if you have any questions, please contact us in advance (see imprint), we will be happy to help you personally and look at your file template for checking without obligation.
If you go through the purchase process, you also have the option of leaving us a personal message in the input field - "Your comments - Insert your comments about this order here" - here you can also send us additional individual information about the order, such as special requests , placement request, callback request, etc.
