o Pump the contents directly onto your food or hands without spilling and without additional aids such as to use a honey spoon. Your table always stays nice and clean because you pump the honey directly onto your bread or into the warm milk.

o Important: the pump works with liquid contents. Pumps works with late-candying honey types such as forest honey, fir honey, linden honey. It doesn't work with solid types of honey such as blossom honey - in order to be able to pump these, solid types must first be heated and liquefied. In order for the pump to work you have to start pumping several times until there is enough liquid in the tube / channel.

o So that you can put the keg into operation as soon as you receive it, we supply a matching glass and two matching screw caps for common glasses. You have the option of pouring your own liquid into the supplied barrel or you can use the matching perforated lid supplied and screw it directly onto your existing glass without having to transfer anything. Now you can get started and pump with joy.

o Attention: we enclose two different common perforated lids in honeycomb design, these you mount correctly according to the instructions on the glass. The supplied perforated lids are suitable for common glasses. Under certain circumstances you have a special jar where the supplied perforated lid does not fit, in this case you can pour your own contents into our supplied jar or you can drill a hole with a diameter of 2 cm in your own lid.

o The barrels are made from Slovenian oak which has an optimal, fine-pored wood structure. The age of the tree is also important for a good barrel. Trees with a large diameter (age) at higher altitudes, which grow slowly, are ideal raw materials for barrels and are carefully selected for this production. The wood is sawn into staves by local Slovenian forest farmers locally in the sawmill and delivered directly to the cooperage. Now the wood is dried for at least 2 years before it is used for barrel production. Only then are the individual wooden strips sawn to size. The individual wooden sticks are then dried again in order to achieve a moisture content of less than 10%, which is essential for optimal quality. This has the advantage that the target moisture content of the wood is below 10% and the wood no longer "shrinks", i.e. it retains its shape and can no longer change. Now the staves are selected and assembled in the cooperage, then pulled together under moisture and heat (this step is the most delicate and most necessary experience of the cooperator). Then the bottom is inserted and the outside of the barrel is sanded. When the barrels leave the cooperage, they have a residual moisture level of only 7%. From the first production step, starting with the selection of the tree to the final leak test, you can expect precise craftsmanship from the Slovenian manufacturer and thus a high-quality barrel as the end product.

o In the third generation, the wooden barrels are made in a small Slovenian family business, the art of cooperage has been passed on and refined to the descendants within the family for over 100 years. The traditional manufacturer has a wealth of experience in barrel production and is aware of the importance of the choice of wood, which is then used in production. Therefore, great importance is attached to the correct selection of the optimal wood from domestic Slovenian forests, which plays a major role for the quality of the content to be filled later.

Please note that each barrel has different grains / structures / characteristics in the wood, as wood is a natural raw material. This special feature is then reflected in the engraving, it is not 100% uniformly homogeneous / even layer painted but the engraving is burned into the wood. We place the text or the MAAJ-MOTIVE or the customer graphic optimally on the respective size and try to extract the optical and space-related maximum, e.g. we must also consider the tap hole and the assembled tap.
